ATTENTION 12TH GRADE PARENTS
Dear 12th Grade Parents,
In order for your child to qualify for the maximum amount of financial aid for college, you must complete the FAFSA immediately! The Guidance Department is hosting a series of FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) completion sessions in January and February in order to help you and your child get the FAFSA done correctly and on time. You must bring your 2010 tax forms & W-2 forms, only if your 2011 taxes aren't ready. We will enter your 2010 tax information as estimates, and then you must go back into the system to enter your 2011 tax information. The final deadline for the FAFSA to be submitted with your 2011 tax information is March 1, 2012. After that, your child will not qualify for the maximum amount of financial aid because state aid will run out!
